How to Find What is Trending on TikTok: Hashtags, Songs, Creators, Videos (TikTok Creative Center)

If you've been on TikTok long enough, I'm sure you've experienced this: you're scrolling on TikTok and you hear the same songs on repeat and see the same videos being recycled by different creators. You may be wondering, "How do all these people get the same idea?" "How did they jump on this trend?" "How do they even know about all these trends?" Well, the answer is TikTok Creative Center! Through the TikTok Creative Center, you can find all sorts of trending hashtags, songs, creators, and videos. This easy, step-by-step guide (with screenshots!) will show you how to find what is trending on TikTok!

Step 2️: Select your Country




Step 3: Navigate between TikTok Hashtags, Songs, Creators, and Videos




Hashtags


Select your Industry and Time Frame.




For example, in the Apparel & Accessories industry, the number 1 trending hashtag is # summer, with 175,000 posts and 715 million views in the United States within the last 7 days.



Click on "New to top 100" to find the new hashtags within the rankings.



Songs


Select your Time Frame.



Click on"Approved for business use" to find trending songs that you can use for your TikTok Ads.



Click on "Breakout" to find songs that are picking up pace within the last 7 days and are going to become popular soon.



Creators


Click on "Audience region" to find the most popular TikTok creators in particular regions.



Click on "Followers" to segment the creators based on the number of followers.



TikTok Videos


Select your Time Frame.



Sort by "hot" or amount of likes, comments, and shares.



Step 4: Click on "See analytics" to get more insights on Age range, Interests, and Regional Popularity


The "See analytics" option is only available for Hashtags and Songs.

Through the TikTok Creative Center, you can find all sorts of data that can help you with your content and ads strategy. For instance, you can capitalize on trending hashtags related to your business to get your content seen, or even make content around these trending hashtags. You can also use the popular songs for ads to catch viewers' attention, or use the breakout songs to get ahead of the hype. You can find all sorts of creators that are popular in your targeted country, from big to small, and perhaps do a collaboration or partnership. Finally, you can find all sorts of TikTok videos that people love to see, comment on, and share, and recreate some of these formats for your own brand. And, you can merge all this together to (hopefully) make your ultimate viral content!
