The integration allows Claude to act as a design co-pilot, handling visual creation tasks alongside text-based work.

Do I need a paid Canva account to connect it to Claude?

No, a free Canva account is sufficient to connect and use the integration with Claude. However, certain Canva features used within the workflow (such as premium templates or Brand Kit elements) will still require a Canva Pro subscription to access.

Where is the Customize menu in Claude?

The Customize option appears in the left-hand sidebar when you are logged into Claude at claude.ai. It sits below your conversation history. Clicking it opens a panel where you can manage integrations, set custom instructions, and configure connected tools including Canva, GitHub, and others.
