Add WIX Website on Bing Webmaster Tools

Start with these three steps, then choose Option A (fastest) or Option B (manual verification).

Login to Bing Webmaster Tools

Click on the drop-down menu on the top-left-hand side

Click on the Add a site button

  • This option imports your verified sites, sitemaps, and some historical data from Google Search Console in one click

Login to your Google account and authorise the import

  • Bing will pull all properties you have access to in Google Search Console
  • Select the Wix site you want to import and confirm — verification is instant

Enter your site URL

  • Type your full Wix homepage URL (e.g. https://www.yoursite.com/) and click Add

Click on HTML Meta Tag

  • Select the HTML Meta Tag verification option from the list

Copy the code

  • Copy the full <meta> tag shown — keep this tab open, you'll need it shortly

Navigate to your Wix backend

Navigate to Site Verification

  • Go to Settings → Marketing Integrations → Site Verification

Select Bing Webmaster

Paste the code and save

  • Paste the <meta> tag you copied from Bing Webmaster Tools and save your changes

Return to Bing Webmaster Tools and click Verify

  • Go back to the Bing Webmaster Tools tab and click Verify
  • Once verified, Bing will start crawling and indexing your Wix site

How long does it take for Bing to start indexing my Wix site after verification?
