Common questions about adding accounts in Google Ads Editor.
Yes. Google Ads Editor supports multiple accounts simultaneously. After signing in, you can select as many accounts as you have access to and open them all. You can then switch between accounts from the account panel on the left-hand side of the interface.
No — as long as your Google account has access to multiple Google Ads accounts (for example, through a Google Ads Manager Account / MCC), you can add all of them in a single sign-in step. If the accounts belong to different Google logins, you will need to sign in separately for each one.
Yes. Once you select and open an account, Google Ads Editor immediately downloads the latest campaign data from Google's servers. This includes campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, and extensions. For large accounts this can take a few minutes. Going forward, you can use Get recent changes to sync any updates made online.
Yes. When you sign in with a Google account linked to a Manager Account, Google Ads Editor will list all the client accounts under that MCC. You can then choose which individual accounts to open, making it easy to manage many client accounts from one place without switching logins.
Check that you signed in with the correct Google account that has access to the Google Ads account. Also verify that the account is active and not suspended in Google Ads. If you recently gained access, try refreshing the account list. You can also try signing out and signing back in to force a refresh of your account permissions.
Right-click the account name in the left-hand account panel and select Remove account. This only removes the account from your local Google Ads Editor installation — it does not affect the actual Google Ads account or any live campaigns. You can re-add the account at any time using the Add button.
