Common questions about Google Ads invoices and billing documents.
Go to Billing → Documents in the left-hand menu of your Google Ads account. All invoices, statements, and billing summaries are listed there. You can filter by date range to find documents from a specific month or period.
Google Ads invoices are downloaded as PDF files. Each invoice includes the billing period, account name, charges, tax details, and payment method. PDFs are ready to send to your finance team or attach to expense reports.
Google Ads stores billing documents for a significant period — typically several years. Use the date range filter in the Documents section to search for invoices from older billing periods. If you cannot find a very old invoice, contact Google Ads support for assistance.
Yes. In the Documents section, tick the checkboxes next to multiple invoices, then click the Download button. Google will bundle the selected documents for download. This is useful when you need to submit invoices for a full quarter or financial year.
Access to the Billing section is restricted to users with Admin or Billing access on the account. If you are a Standard user or have read-only access, the Billing option will not appear in your menu. Ask the account admin to grant you the appropriate access level or to download the invoices on your behalf.
An invoice is a formal billing document issued to accounts on monthly invoicing (typically larger advertisers with a credit line). A billing summary or statement is available for accounts on automatic payments (credit/debit card), showing charges for a given period. Most small-to-medium accounts use automatic payments and will see billing summaries rather than formal invoices.
