Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about adding users and managing access in Reddit Ads.

What permissions can I assign when inviting a user to Reddit Ads?

When inviting a new member, Reddit Ads lets you choose between Admin and Standard access. Admins have full control over the account including billing and user management, while Standard users can create and manage campaigns but cannot change account settings or manage other users.

Do I need to share my login credentials to give someone access?

No. Reddit Ads uses an invitation-based system — the person you invite will receive an email to accept the invitation and access the account using their own Reddit login. You never need to share passwords or personal credentials.

Can I give access to multiple Reddit Ads accounts at once?

Yes. During the invitation flow, after setting the user's email and permissions, you are prompted to select which Reddit Ads accounts they should have access to. You can select one or multiple accounts from the list and set the access level for each individually.

How long does the invited user have to accept the invitation?

Invitations in Reddit Ads typically expire after a set period if not accepted. If the invitee does not receive the email or the invitation expires, you can re-send the invitation from the Users section of your Reddit Ads account by resending to the same email address.

How do I remove a user from my Reddit Ads account?

Go to the Users section in the left-hand menu of Reddit Ads, find the user you want to remove, and select the option to revoke or remove their access. This immediately prevents them from accessing the account. Their historical activity and any campaigns they created remain in the account.

Does the invited user need an existing Reddit account?

Yes. To accept an invitation and access Reddit Ads, the invitee must have a Reddit account. If they do not already have one, they will need to create a Reddit account first before they can log in to Reddit Ads and accept the invitation.
