Link Ahrefs with Claude

Once connected, Claude can query your Ahrefs data directly from the conversation window. You can ask Claude to look up keyword rankings, check backlink profiles, review domain authority metrics, pull site audit data, and analyse organic traffic trends — all without leaving Claude. This lets you use AI to speed up SEO research, identify link-building opportunities, and get instant answers from your Ahrefs account in natural language.

Go to Settings in your Claude account (accessible from the sidebar or profile menu at claude.ai), then look for the Connectors section. This is where all third-party integrations are managed, including Ahrefs, Apollo.io, Asana, and others.

The Ahrefs integration in Claude works via Ahrefs' API, which requires a paid Ahrefs subscription. API access is typically available on Lite, Standard, and higher plans. Free Ahrefs Webmaster Tools accounts have limited API access. Refer to Ahrefs' documentation for the most up-to-date API plan requirements.

Yes. Once authorised, Claude can access your Ahrefs data through the integration. You can ask Claude to research keywords, check search volumes, analyse competitor backlinks, review anchor text data, and pull domain metrics in natural language — making it much faster to gather SEO insights without switching between tools.

Go back to Settings → Connectors in Claude and find Ahrefs in your connected integrations. Click the disconnect or remove option to revoke access. You can also manage API token permissions directly from your Ahrefs account under Account Settings → API.

Connector availability in Claude depends on your plan and region. If Ahrefs appears in your Settings → Connectors list, it is available for your account. Claude Pro subscribers generally have access to more connectors and higher usage limits. Check the Connectors section in your account to see what is currently available.
